For me the location was great: outside of center Espargos means no noises at all, super quiet and relaxing neighbourhood. Minimarket was 5 min walking away, nice and cheap restaurant 3 min. I even walked to the airport which was around 40min. The bus station for the collectivos to Santa Maria (scooter rental) is 20min walking. The room and the house is superclean, modern, and the owner is really friendly, and nearly always available via booking or WhatsApp. He speaks Portugese, Englisch, spanish and french... He has mountain bikes for rent (just 7km to the Salinas), and in the near future also scooter. The room is big with a big bed and a comfy matrace. There is a table and chairs. Also there are enough plugs to charge your stuff. The bathroom looks / is new and has a shower with hot water. The WiFi works great. I loved staying here! Definitely recommend this place!

The staff was incredibly welcoming and professional, always available for any request. The owner, in particular, was extraordinary: he helped us organize memorable excursions and personally took care of booking taxis for both our arrival and departure. This level of attention and care made our stay truly special. The room was spotless, spacious, and equipped with every comfort. We really appreciated the attention to detail and the immaculate cleanliness. The neighborhood where the hotel is located is quiet and well-served, perfect for relaxing and immersing yourself in the island’s beauty. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a stay in Cape Verde. Here, you’ll find not just a place to sleep but a true experience of hospitality. We will definitely be back! The overall house is also nice and in a quiet area of Santa Maria, around 15mins walking from the center. There are a few restaurants and markets also quite close. The owners are very kind and provided us with some useful tips related to Sal! Very appreciated!

Thanks to Mr. Robert, we were introduced to the phenomenal Kiteschool "Surf Shop Cabo Verde." Our experience there was nothing short of fantastic. The professionalism of the instructors and their passion for kitesurfing were evident from the very beginning. Within just two days, my wife and I were able to kite almost independently, which was an absolute thrill. We are incredibly thankful to Mr. Robert for connecting us to this amazing kiteschool and making this experience possible. By the way, it is one of the best kiteschool in Santa Maria. Please book in advance. Not only did Mr. Robert provide us with an incredible kitesurfing adventure, but he also recommended the best restaurants in town. And believe us when we say he was spot on! Each and every dining experience was a culinary delight, leaving our taste buds in awe. Mr. Robert's knowledge of the local dining scene truly enhanced our stay, and we'd highly recommend following his recommendations for an unforgettable gastronomic journey. Now, let's talk about the penthouse. This place is simply the best with an incredible view. The moment we stepped onto the rooftop terrace, we were greeted by an awe-inspiring panorama of the ocean that left us speechless.

The guesthouse is far away of the caothic center of Santa Maria which you can reach easily by walk and very close to the beach. If you want No stress like they say in Cape Verde you should go there definitely.
