Very nice hotel, located a few kilometers away from Tarrafal and the playas. It is in a small village, very quiet and with ocean views. The appartment was really clean, and very well furnished. Many items in the kitchen, 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds and 4 balconies! The breakfast is amazing (we were only eating breakfast and in the evening, as the breakfast was really generous), and the lady serving it and doing housekeeping is so nice.

It's a short distance from the beach in a quiet street opposite a local school. The shared areas as kitchen, living room, bathroom and the balcony are cleaned daily. Our room was comfortable and had all we needed. We really appreciated Cino our host, who gave us a lot of tips about where to go eat and how to best explore the island. We can only recommend him and his business.

The property is clean and tidy, centrally located in the plateau, at walking distance to major attractions like Sicupira market, Cabral Museum & Memorial and the bus terminal to Tarrafal is literally down the road. Maria is a wonderful hostess, she is very helpful and attentive to her guests’ needs. She even stayed up late into the night to wait for my arrival.

Casa Sodadi se nachází v destinaci Praia v regionu Santiago a nabízí terasu. Pláž Praia Negra se nachází 1,4 km daleko a Ethnography Museum 90 metrů. At Casa Sodadi you live very centrally on the plateau, but still withdrawn and quiet. It is a wonderful little accommodation in a former colonial house that is modern and traditional at the same time. No breakfast or so. But there is a little nice kitchenette if you like to prepare something. Next doors one can find little shops, the market and many more. I booked the transfer from/to the airport. This works very well! Thx to Lino ;-) I met the owner and her husband and they are both really warm, urban and uncomplicated. Thank you for the great stay and best wishes from Germany!

Kaza Awa - Urban Guesthouse se nachází v destinaci Praia a poskytuje pokoje s klimatizací a s bezplatným Wi-Fi. We had a great stay at Kaza Awa. Our room was big, clean and had air-conditioning. We booked the room with bathroom which was big enough with hot water. We could use the kitchen and fridge which made our stay even better. The host was friendly and was always willing to help us out. The location was good and safe. Close to the beach and also Plateau was just a 30min walk or short taxi ride away. Can highly recommend a stay here!

Cactus Guest House se nachází v destinaci Cidade Velha a poskytuje venkovní bazén, zahradu, soukromou pláž a sdílený lounge. Ubytování nabízí službu concierge a terasu. The house is so beautiful! The location is great, although the surrounding area (streets) is still under construction so it can be rough terrain to walk through to the main village if you are not able to walk well. Spectaculair view of the sea and the waves crashing on the rocky coast. Breathtaking! House is clean and well maintained. Garden too. Multiple rooms are rented out and you share the kitchen, living room and outside area with swimming pool. The coast in town has a little beach but is more a place where the locals put there fishing boats in the water. Sometimes someone swims there and that is possible but it is dark brown beach sand and quite big waves, so we didn’t swim in the sea there. If you rent a car somewhere you would be able to visit other places in the island from Cidade Velha. Staff very friendly and stay out of your way. We didn’t take the breakfast, but there is the possibility. The caretaker showed us the way to the village and the small supermarket shops for some groceries. There isn’t much available, but Praia is very close by (you can take a local white transportation van for only a euro into Praia on the main road) and it is a very nice place to stay away from the big town. We stayed in multiple places in Santiago and thought this was the most beautiful location to stay in the island.
