The room was modern and comfortable, even though the surroundings are quite rural. The house features a great rooftop with a lovely atmosphere, and the owner is absolutely fantastic! JJ went the extra mile to make our stay wonderful - always friendly, helpful and attentive. He also offers affordable Nile trips and transfers to Abu Simbel, which we highly recommend. The accommodation is conveniently located near the public ferry, which runs frequently and costs only 10 EGP per person. JJ welcomes you with tasty lemon-mint drink and offers the tea when he sees you :)

The staff were lovely. The decor was beautiful.The bed and pillow were unbelievably comfortable. The manager went above and beyond to help us. They even prepared a breakfast box for our early start. Youssra is an excellent hostess, upon arrival she provided us with fresh mango juice and we were able to leave our luggage as we went on our previously arranged trip. There are three rooms in the house, we stayed in the double room on the second floor, the room was clean and neat, with both a ceiling fan and A/C. There is also a rooftop sitting area. Washroom was fully functional, with ample amounts of hot water as needed. Location is perfect if staying on the island, after taking the public ferry for 10LE, walk up the stairs and make a right and it will be in front of you, we mistakenly were looking for a sign, but it is very easy to get to, plus there are two places nearby to get drinks and snacks, one across from the guest house, another about a two minute walk. A couple of restaurants also within a one minute walk. Ahmed also gave us more delicious mango juice and a small departing gift upon checkout. Highly recommend staying here while in Aswan if you want to support a small business doing their best to do things the right way and make your stay as comfortable and easy as possible.

It was the best guest house that we had during our holiday in Egypt! The room was very clean and comfortable (especially the bed !!), with AC and a fan and a small fridge. A nice bathroom with shampoo and hot water. The hosts are so nice and welcoming, it was a pleasure to share some moments in their home. They can cook for you and the food is delicious! They will help you however they can (they bought tickets for us for the lights and sounds show). You can easily walk to the temple from there. Thank you so much, hopefully we will be back one day!

Only a couple of mins walk to the ferry which is available every 10 mins. Clean rooms and bathrooms. The view from the terrace was amazing. The owner of the property was very friendly and helpful.

Picturesque place, next to beautiful mountain that you can visit by camels or on foot, 7 min away from the ferry that takes you to louder and more crowded places! We were walking around the village and everyone was so friendly and wanted to help us!

We are so glad to stay in this little island away from the busy streets and hustlers. It's so quiet and everyone in the island is so welcoming, greetings received from everyone. There's a ferry to get to east side and the pier is only 4 min away from the guest house. The ferry fair is 10EGP per person. Only takes 2-3 mins to cross the river. Ferry runs 24 hours so very easy to go around. Abu came with his motorboat to pick us up when we arrived and we were send off as well when we left. Village walking tour and the felucca trip with Mustafa (Abu's cousin) was the best time we had in Egypt. He's so friendly and very knowledgeable. We had an amazing time with them. The home cook dinner prepared by Abu's family were delicious. Abu can organise all kind of trips for you and you can book their motorboat to go to a different island with very reasonable price. Thanks for the warm and greatest hospitality from Abu and his family. We had an amazing stay and we will miss this lovely little island.
