As other reviews have mentioned, the location is excellent, and the room is very clean. What impressed me the most was Sonja and her team, who made our trip to Valencia truly wonderful for me and my boyfriend. Staying here felt just like coming home. Sonja is a beautiful and elegant lady. Although we didn’t share the same language, I trusted and liked her at first sight. She reminded me of my mom back in China. When we were leaving, she even saw us off to the car. I regret not giving her a big hug before we left! With the arrival of the New Year in 2025, I’d like to send my best wishes to Sonja and her family. Until we meet again!

The location, the staff, the facilities, the room, every is simply on point. I highly recommend this place if you want to stay close to the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències. But be aware that this is not the right place if you want to be close to nightlife of the historic part of the city.

The guest house features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. The hotel is brilliantly located between both the main beaches of this busy seaside town. Our beautiful room overlooked the tranquil bay of the playa sur; a very easy stroll from the hotel to the, excellent value, beach sun beds and umbrellas - still available to rent at the beginning of October; which is such a safe place to swim. The hotel is within minutes walk of the castle and old Town - with great views to enjoy because of its excellent location. Maria and her family have created a fantastic hotel, to add to their already thriving restaurant. We loved everything about our stay here: the calm style of the rooms; the spotless cleanliness; the attention to detail and the wonderfully warm - and efficient - welcome from Maria, who speaks excellent English, after her work and travels in London and Australia. We also enjoyed the views from our huge balcony, the historic aspects of Peniscola and all the bars, restaurants and shops (and very good parking) that surround Xulos. We would so happily return to visit here again to enjoy another wonderful stay at this beautifully designed seaside hotel.

Among the facilities at this property are free shuttle service and full-day security, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The guest house has family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. Pepe was very accommodating and helpful! If you find this available and can book a room with the view, do it! Definitely one of the nicest places we have stayed at. So nice to have water in your room, an espresso machine, fruit with a mini microwave kitchen in the shared area. So clean, beautiful and a view to live for. We wanted to see Altea but struggled to leave our incredible home. Pepe was so kind in offering advice on where to eat, what to do and when. We will return:)
