Situated in Solutré-Pouilly, in a historic building, 12 km from Mâcon Exhibition Centre, Chez Romain is a guest house with a garden and bar. Very modern and spotlessly clean. Superb views from our balcony over the vineyards and rooftops of the charming and quiet village of Solutre. Romain and his staff were great hosts. He even gave us a degustation of his wines - which were superb. Breakfast was like dining at home - totally laid back and casual. There’s also a superb restaurant just 150 meters from the property Les Courtilles de Solutre which Romain booked for us even before we arrived! The area is a wine lovers and hikers paradise with loads of Vignobles to choose from and the Roches de Solutre and de Vergisson to climb.

Excellent bed and breakfast: everything was very clean and new. The owner was very friendly. They also serve dinner, very convenient since there are not many restaurants nearby. We stayed here 1 night on our way back to Holland from La Plagne. Close to the motorway, but situated in the countryside among the grapevines.
