We couldn't asked for a better place to stay, warming studio with very comfy bed and the view from our windows were amazing. There's plenty of shops/pubs within 10min walk from James place. Studios At Glenthorne is just 15 minutes’ walk from Merthyr Tydfil Railway Station. These family-run, self-catering studios are set in a Victorian townhouse. We had two studios and they were absolutely perfect. Claire has been a wonderful host and the studios are very well and thoughtfully equipped. The kitchen is equipped not only with cookingware but the fridge is stocked with milk and water, too. The place feels like a home away from home.

Located in the quiet hamlet of Sigingstone, a 10-minute drive from the coastal town of Llantwit Major, Victoria Inn is a family-run establishment with free Wi-Fi and home-made, traditional food. Warm and feel like home. Staff and owner were friendly. Had a good sleep in the quiet countryside, followed by a good breakfast. Will visit again.
