Offering mountain views, Mountain Ecolodge is an accommodation situated in Gubukklakah, 24 km from Bentoel Museum and 25 km from Bima Sakti Hall. This is the biggest surprise of my Indonesia trip! This place located in a small town near Malang. It runs by a family and Mrs. Mary took 2 of her independent rooms as hotel. There is super nice mountain view and the whole atmosphere is sooo chill. The room is quite big. The host even gave us some passion fruits and papaya grown from their farm. It is not far from Mt. Bromo and Tumpak Sewu - both takes 1.5h to drive there. There are hardly any tourists in this small town and when we were walking to a restaurant, the people were so curious and greeting us friendly, the kids on the street waved to us and say hello. It was such an amazing experience! The sunset of with rice field view in the small town is also really really beautiful. There is also a good and modern restaurant 20 min walk from our stay and it is designed to see the sunset with a big balcony, the food is very nice too

Lovely place, with a special energy. Excellent location. Room with a beautiful view, spacious, spotless, well furnished. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Siska and the whole staff are extremely helpful and attentive. Delicious food (both breakfast and dinner). I was provided with a lot of useful information and a professional and nice driver. As a solo female traveller I have felt very safe there.

We really enjoyed our stay, it was clean, cozy and nice to be outside of the main centre but with easy access by foot or grab.. The hosts are very nice and they even gave us little Indonesian pancakes for breakfast which was a nice surprise.

Situated 11 km from Saung Angklung Udjo, Rumah Lereng Bandung offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as an infinity pool and an open-air bath. Had an amazing stay at this mountain spot near Bandung. Run by a nice Dutch couple and a bunch of friendly cats, it's the perfect place to relax away from Jakarta. It's super close to Tegalluar, the fast train station, making access super easy. The infinity pool? Unreal. The room and the views from the terrace? Top-notch. Honestly, it's a solid 10/10 + extra points for the cat squad. Can't wait to go back!

The place is tucked away in a small neighborhood, which is quite charming. Guests should be aware, though, that cars can't enter the area, so a short walk with your luggage is necessary to reach the place. The breakfast was also delicious and they even packed it to go!
