You can tell he really cares about his guests. The room and bathroom are very clean and comfortable. The food is incredible too (plenty of vegan and vegetarian options)! I did a 2 night jungle trek with them as well and everything was very well organised, great food and fruit on the trek, comfortable campsites by the river and close to a waterfall. You could tell that the guide really enjoyed being in nature, he had so much knowledge about the animals and plants and made us feel really safe. I got a bee sting and he had magic oil that made the sting disappear in just 30 min! I had a really great stay and trek with Brian and his team and definitely recommend them and would definitely come back one day! :)

Located in Bukit Lawang in the Sumatra region, Jhony's Backpacker-Guest House only stay here book treking with us features a balcony. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. Booking that turned out to be one of the best experiences in my life. The host Jhony was very helping with everything and was kind to sell me the tour for almost original price despite the fact that I’m a solo traveller. His student Lana became my guide in the jungle for two days, he was a great companion, took good care of everything, told many interesting facts and stories. We saw 9 orangutans and many other animals. Food that’s included for trekking was delicious, lots of fruits. The overall route is easy, but there were some challenging parts, and you have to be ready for inconveniences regarding sleeping or going to toilet, it’s not a luxury resort after all. Also rafting isn’t scary at all and super fun. The accommodation in the village was nice, especially for this price, bed has a curtain to protect you from insects.

This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The accommodation offers airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. I really enjoyed my stay here. It is a comfy and very convenient guesthouse. The staff is really kind and helpfull. They also organize great trekking tours to the jungle. And the location of the guest house is great. Right next to the river. From the terasse you can look down on the river and enjoy the village life.

Located in Bukit Lawang, Gino's Place - Guest House & Jungle Trekking features a garden, terrace, restaurant, and free WiFi throughout the property. There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. We had a great two night stay! The room was spacious and the AC worked great. The staff were so kind and helpful. The food was delicious (we liked the curry best) and very reasonably priced. We also signed up for a one day tour with them and we had a great day with 5 orangutan sightings led by our guides Jojo and Aldi. One evening some local guys came by to hang out and play some music. It was great singing along and getting to know the people of Bukit Lawang! It was also great that this didn’t go on late into the night and we still went to bed at a very reasonable time.

At the hotel, every room is fitted with a balcony. At Sahnan Guest House the rooms come with a private bathroom. Great homestay in Bukit Lawang, very clean, very cosy huge bed and AC! The owner arranged a Jungle tour for us and our guide Jonny did an awesome job! We saw a lot of orang Utans and a lot of other animals, he knew a lot about the animals and the jungle which was great! The food was also really good! Can’t recommend this place enough

At the guest house, the family-friendly restaurant is open for dinner and lunch and serves Indonesian cuisine. We stayed there only for a short night, but still had great experience. It's located on the outskirts of Medan. There's a nice garden, so you don't have a feeling you're in a big city, and also tasty food in their restaurant. The owner is easy to communicate with. The room is comfortable and clean, with good airconditioning. Wifi works well. We left early in the morning, so we couldn't get the proper breakfast, but we still got a delicious fruit salad to-go.
