Dotato di un ristorante e di una caffetteria in loco, il Blabjorg Resort si trova nel villaggio di pescatori di Borgarfjordur Eystri, a 71 km da Egilsstadir. I reserved gesthouse rooms with shared bathroom (because no other room left) and I had my doubts. But the reality exceeded my expectations. Small but cozy room, comfortable bad, linens, towels like in 5* hotel, bath rooms are like 5*hotel too. In addition, you have a shared kitchen. Instead, we tryed the hotel restaurant and enjoyed it very much. The spa is superb!!! Don't miss it! We had a discount for spa about 17%. Sea view was wonderful, like TV with wild sea life podcast just outside your windows. Lots of seabirds! Puffings lookout just 5 min drive away.

There are 4 or 5 upstairs rooms, 2 upstairs bathrooms. Downstairs there is a communal kitchen, two dining room areas, living room space and 1/2 bathroom with washing machine and dryer when you can use as part of your stay. Kitchen is very well equipped for cooking and includes an espresso room if you fancy a coffee. The interior is very nicely decorated and is quite comfortable, a nice change of pace after a week of staying in our camper van. Bathrooms are spacious, showers were great. We found our room to be quite comfortable as well. Bed mattresses lean towards firm, good amount of space for luggage and hanging jackets and a few clothing items. Small work desk with chair, bedside tables, plenty of electric outlets and windows to let light into the room.

Casetta carinissima e arredata con cura. Elsa, la proprietaria, ci accolti con piacere e ha preparato del pane fresco per colazione. Nella camera c'è un bagno con wc e lavandino, mentre le docce sono in una struttura separata (in comune con gli altri ospiti, ma pulitissime). Cucine in condivisione con gli altri ospiti, molto pulita e ordinata. Grande sala "relax" comune con poltrone, biliardo, strumenti musicali,... Peccato non ci fossero altri ospiti, credo sarebbe stato divertente incontrarsi lì.

Very cute room, the bed is probably the most comfortable bed we slept in on our vacation in Iceland. The room is not huge so don’t bring too much luggage up to the room! The owner is very friendly & is available to help.

Fjalladýrð Guesthouse presenta un giardino, una sala comune, un ristorante e un bar a Modrudalur. The room was very clean, and the staff were warm and welcoming. The farm animals were adorable and made the stay more enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious, and overall it was a pleasant experience.
