Quietly located 5 km from Iceland's Ring Road and 13 km from Lake Mývatn, this family-run guest house offers views over Sandfell Mountain. Wow highly recommended! First of all - the entire staff is amazing, pleasant, courteous, helpful and very nice. The room we received was very large, comfortable and clean, the shower room and toilet were also clean. Surrounded by endless scenery, can even see the smoke from the geothermal area in the distance. The hotel is about fifteen minutes drive from Lake Myvatn. There is also a very nice hot tub. Varied and delicious breakfast. Also a very nice dinner. It is important for me to add, the owner of the place is so nice! He helped us a lot, we were worried that we had a problem with the car and he helped us and fixed it.
