Nice and clean rooms, great breakfast (not included but absolutely worth it), very good WiFi, place to park the car, very cosy pool area, friendly hosts… Basically everything that you are looking for was great. The ride to the property might be a bit challenging for inexperienced drivers but you can do it. Just don’t rent a huge car (which applies to all of Sicily anyway). However. It all doesn’t really matter. The view from this place is one of the most beautiful that we’ve ever witnessed in any of the hotels we’ve been to anywhere. Jaw dropping. Apart from sleeping, I spent every single minute outside on the terrace and couldn’t believe it. I woke up at 7 just to see it again. I took hundreds of pictures :). I have friends at home asking me to give them the address and contact details because they saw my instagram posts :). You will not regret booking this place, I promise. Oh, and Cefalù was wonderful too :) PS: the sunset… 🥹

Breakfast was great, with various Italian tasty pastries as well as scrambled eggs, vegetables, dairy products, and great coffee. We greatly appreciated the complimentary daily water (still and sparkling) and limoncello, which were made available to all guests staying at the hotel in the common breakfast area. The location is highly advantageous, offering easy access to every major tourist attraction in Ortigia within walking distance. Numerous great restaurant options are also available in the vicinity. Being in such a central location makes the area very lively, especially on the weekends when the bar across the street plays live music outside. Nonetheless, the rooms are well soundproofed, and we didn’t find this in the least bothersome; however, I can understand that it may be judged so by light sleepers or people seeking tranquility. Reaching the place was very easy. The hosts contacted us in advance with helpful instructions about the parking options, which included a public paid parking lot located less than 10 minutes away from the hotel. One note for people with mobility issues: Although the building has an elevator, it can only be accessed after climbing a flight of stairs. The rooms are located on the last floor, and there are a few additional steps to reach them after exiting the elevator. We enjoyed our stay here and found the particularities of lodging in an old building in the heart of the city charming. With its hardwood parquet floors and lofty ceiling, the place had been very tastefully renovated while still preserving its old appeal, making it a cozy base to explore an ancient, monumental city.

What an unusual place, although this being Italy/Sicily, maybe not. This hotel is plonked in the corner of a car park 3 minutes walk from a terminal at the slightly seedy looking Catania Airport. By most reckoning, it should be just a place to dive into to escape the hassle of travel and get some shut eye for a few hours, yet it is the exact opposite. It's chic and has been exquisitely finished. The staff in our one night stay, one after another, outdid each other in welcoming and looking after us, I.e. Fabrizio, Antonio and Davido, I hope I spelt those names correctly. The view from my room was of a car park, but Mount Etna was smoking away behind it. I lay in bed and watched it for an hour. On the other side was the runway. I sat in a bench on the morning and watched planes take off and land.for another hour, it was very pleasant. The soundproofing was excellent, by the way. Rooms and furniture were like new, it was very clean Good location, close to ZTL zone David was very kind, providing us with advice to move through Palermo and with good recommendations for food, places to visit

Excellent accommodations in a renovated historic building, the room was very comfortable and everything worked perfectly! A short walk to basically everything in Agrigento, the location can't be beat. Plenty of free (and paid) parking around the property as well. The host Salvatore is also extremely kind, generous, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable with a passion for Sicilian history and cuisine - he has gone to great lengths to restore this historic building, with impressive results.

It is set within its own gorgeous garden right at the top of Agrigento old town, and our room also had a terrace with an incredible view out over the Valley of the Temples. Plus Adriano was full of great recommendations to enjoy Agrigento and the surrounding area. We stayed three nights and wish we could have stayed three more!
