Ühise puhkeruumiga Guesthouse Erimo Apartment asub Sapporos, 11 km kaugusel Shin-Sapporo jaamast, 23 km kaugusel Otarushi Zenibako kesklinnast ja 40 km kaugusel Otaru jaamast. Erimo Apartments I'm 78 years old, and in all my traveling (many places in the world) I have NEVER come across a more gracious, helpful,  and generous host than Takashi Soda. His help to sort out an accommodation problem at another venue for other members of our group, and driving us to catch a bus at short notice was way above 'call of duty'. His accommodation at Erimo self contained studio units have everything you need and more. These are a typical Japanese living space, not big, but pack in so many facilities in a small space it amazes me. They are modern, and spotlessly clean. There is also a shared communal room. Very easy to get anywhere around Sapporo from here. Either long or short term. Hiragishi subway station & the full supermarket (open 09 to 23.30) next to it are a 4 minute walk, a 7/11 is a 2 minute walk away.  Takashi speaks quite reasonable English. I highly recommended this place to stay.

Aiaga Guesthouse Nibutani Yanto asub Biratoris. Selles kahetärnihotellis on ühine köök, ühine puhkeruum ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. Kõikides hosteli majutusruumides on CD-mängija. Honestly everything. It was one of the best guesthouses where I stayed at in Japan. You can expect cleanliness, confort, spaciousness, and they have a kitchen with full amenities. The guesthouse also has a washing machine (free use and free detergent), but plan for the fact there is no dryer. There is ample space to air dry your clothes either outside or in the dorms with hangers and clips. To note, there is a bookshelve with a wide variety of books. I didn't end up reading for lack of time, but not for lack of interest. There is a high likelyhood of me going back if an opportunity presents itself. It is situated in one of the last Ainu villages. While Ainu folks obviously live a modern livestyle. You can enjoy the museums and visit the shops selling the Ainu craftsmen work. I suggest looking in advance for events happening in the village. Otherwise, a good day is largely enough to do and see everything in the village. Multiple times a day, a workshop on Ainu woodworking is given for free in the modern building (shop) at the end of the kotan. I highly recommand going for it to complete your experience in the village. It was a rewarding 1 hour workshop. I am grateful for it. I highly suggest going for a walk at the Makaushi waterfall (マカウシの滝). On your way there you will find a golf course (with rental clubs), a tennis court (with rental rackets) and a playground (if my memory serves right). After which, you can make your way to the trail in the forest which will lead you to two scenic spots: the river and the waterfall. I was able to see deers at the river. All and all, it is a very short walk.

Featuring 1-star accommodation, Sapporo Guest House 庵 Anne is set in Sapporo, 7.7 km from Otarushi Zenibako City Center and 14 km from Sapporo Station. I recommend it one hundred percent! It was cozy and quiet, and Michi was so incredibly friendly and accommodating. She always helped you when you needed it. You can rent bikes there, and you're at the sea in 20 minutes. You can chat with other people or be alone. Breakfast was always delicious. There's also a great sushi restaurant an 8-minute walk away. In my opinion, it's the best in town! Toriton. It was my first time in a guest house like a hostel but it was great!

The host was very kind and attentive, I enjoyed the conversations, the recommendations and the welcome we experienced during our stay. Thank you so much, I hope to come back one day. The room and bathroom are very spacious and clean. The view on the lake is most lovely.

Vaikse tänavavaatega BEACH JA FIELD INN INN asub Sapporos, 3,9 km kaugusel Sapporo jaamast ja 10 km kaugusel Shin-Sapporo jaamast. Selles kahetärnihotellis on pakihoid ja ühine puhkeruum. This hostel is very welcoming and warm, well located with conbinis near by and a good friendly atmoshphere. Easy to socialize and be comfortable.

Guesthouse OYADO SAPPORO asub Sapporos, 6,2 km kaugusel Sapporo jaamast, 10 km kaugusel Shin-Sapporo jaamast ja 23 km kaugusel Otarushi Zenibako kesklinnast. I like this hostel. It is comfortable and clean. The owner is welcoming and helpful, make you feel at home. Good breakfast and good area to enjoy the city. Thanks! I recommend!

Vaikse tänavavaatega Pirka Sapporo asub Sapporos, 2,7 km kaugusel Sapporo jaamast ja 12 km kaugusel Shin-Sapporo jaamast. I needed a short stay and didn’t mind a cheap place. But it exceeded my expectations. Nearest subway line took me straight to Sapporo and to a new restaurant area. It was a bit hard lugging my suitcase through the snow for less than 10 minutes and climbing the entry stairs, but the location was really good. The facilities and common room were AMAZING and was a pleasant surprise! The staff were attentive and very accommodating. Would recommend.
