Lin and Ah Sey and the entire staff are so friendly and helpful. They really did everything to make my visit great. I loved hanging out in the restaurant and watching little Lily get into all sorts of mischief, and the infamous sea otter paid a visit which was amazing and funny. As others have mentioned, Lin’s boat ride with snorkeling, fishing, a barbecue and finally swimming with the bioluminescent plankton was pure magic!

I loved that place, it is very remote so I would recommend gettin a scooter for 10 dol from Koh Touch or Long Beach at get there with it. It is quite remote so may not be suitable for everyone but it was lovely.

You are on a nearly empty island with no roads or establishments, the water is warm like a bath. The huts and tents are nestled into the jungle, a literal stone’s throw from a white, sandy beach. It is quiet. People at this camp/resort tend to snorkel, hike, and read in hammocks all day and not much else. The food is homemade and healthy. The staff are warm and accommodating. I originally booked for five nights, not knowing if I could handle much more in such a secluded area without getting bored. Within 5 minutes of arrival, I extended my stay. Don’t think twice- if you have come across this wild place in your search, you are meant to be here.

Not only was the room super comfortable, but the location was perfect. Dining at the restaurant is the best; the food is delicious, and I tried a bit of everything. And the staff is the best—friendly, helpful in every way, and a great atmosphere. Loved it.

The hosts are super friendly and helpful. They will make coffee whenever and bring it to you. The rooms are pretty simple but very clean and fit for purpose. The mosquito net is a bonus as there are quite a lot of sandflies in the area.

Great hospitality shown throughout all day. Khmer, English, French and even some German spoken to cater for everyone. Come and enjoy;)

Such a relaxing and beautiful place where you can really immerse yourself into a more local and nature experience. Johney also an amazing host, super helpful, offers scooters for rent, free snorkelling gear and kayaks. The hut itself was really nice, huge bed and it would cool down enough in the night with the fan to make comfortable sleeping experience. Only comment I would make is expect no luxury for toilet and shower facilities, its all part of the experience, and we found it very enjoyable but might not be everyones cup of tea.

Set in Koh Rong Sanloem, Seashell Guesthouse, bar and tattoos offers beachfront accommodation a few steps from M’Pai Bay Beach and offers various facilities, such as a shared lounge, a terrace and a bar. This guesthouse just opened recently and is run by a young couple that decided to move to this island. They are lovely, laid back and helpful. The girl is a very talented tattoo artist! It's just by the beach so you wake up to the sight of the ocean.
