I booked this property based on a review written by a family similar to ours. And the open air bathroom. We are a family of 4 with a 5 yr old girl and 2 year old boy. We rented the large family suite and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Less then 5 mins from the beach, large comfortable double beds with mosquito nets, a shared kitchenette, large comfortable bathroom with hot water and AC. The owners were such lovely accommodating people. The best part was the location. Hiritekiya is an Instagramy digital nomady hotspot, and Jungle Escape is located in the less developed part of the beach. So we were close to everything but in a more tranquil environment.

The Surf Lodge is beautifully decorated with a lot of love and taste. It offers amazing breakfast and a direct access to the beach. It is managed by the super kind Che who was always very attentive to help us organize a few things around the area. What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. We initially planned to stay for 5 days but ended up extending our visit to 3 weeks because everything was so amazing. The accommodation is new and features a beautiful garden, where we enjoyed watching a variety of animals. The hosts and staff were incredibly kind and made us feel at home. We can't wait to come back!

Wilson’s place was perfect place to stay, the prices are reasonable and the room is huge, clean and tide. There is a/c and refrigerator, and if you like to get iron they will provide you. There also a water tank you can fill up your water for free. The plus thing you can find in this place is the small garden you can chill or do some yoga. Ramesh was delighted and helpful every time I needed him. Definitely I recommend this place and will come back again.

Jackie was so friendly and welcoming. We loved our short time here. The room was clean and neat. Good wifi: the communal area was really nice and comfortable. Ice and filtered water available. Great location with a nice little shop on the side. Thank you for the great stay

Great location, right by the beach! The beach is great for a swim and less than a 5min walk to Turtle point where you can snorkel and see fish and turtles! Great and varied breakfast with a view. The room is beautifully designed and was kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay!

Absolutely in love with the place that Wounderfull couple is managing! The whole team made out stay incredible and unforgettable, the varied so much about us almost every moment we stepped out of the room. Mr and Mrs Dias are always in the hotel, approachable if you need something. The hotel has a great security, it is not easy for strangers to come in. Also it is located on the Main Street it is very quiet and we slept well. The beach and some good restaurants are just couple minutes walk. The room was clean with everything you need, comfortable beds, hot shower with very good water pressure. Breakfast was very good with small compliments from the chef. We really enjoyed the place and would love to come back to this particular hotel next time we visit Sri Lanka.

I stayed here for two weeks in July and absolutely loved it. You can use the kitchen and washing machine; there are lots of small shops nearby and the closest beach is really gorgeous :). During my stay I had two job interviews and Mihiranga booked an extra Wifi-package for me (free of charge) which worked perfectly. He's very kind and helped to ensure an amazing stay for me. I would definitly recommend this place! It's calm and beautiful.
