The guest house features garden views and a picnic area. Very nice and clean flat. It was a pleasure to stay. The bathroom is equipped with shower gel, shampoo, and soap. Kitchen with refrigerator, microwave oven, cooking plate and other available. Friendly owner. Good location, not far from the bus coach station and 15-20 min. walking distance to the station of retro train Alūksne-Gulbene. Definitely recommended!.

We were offered dinner and breakfast but due to storm there was no electricity so we brought our own food and all was perfect.

Calm location for listening the welcome rain in the middle of a hot summer. Being in the middle of forest even the forecasted winds mostly skipped the tranquil yard. Good breakfast, although it would be more ecological to ask about dietary restrictions before offering sausages. Well, the owner appeared to have some pets, although didn't spot them outside in the rainy weather, so guess the parts not eaten found some other use. Would also recommend the location for family events (if properly arranged with the owner well in advance). Building itself was actually best example of properly done masonry I have seen in Latvia, thanks for restoring my belief in properly built buildings still existing :-)
