Amaru Colonial is a colonial inn in the artistic SanBlas district, 2 blocks from San Blas square. The charming central courtyard features soft lighting and a colorful flower garden. The views are incredible for starters and the comfort of the place is great. Everything is highlighted by the friendly and always there to help staff (literally 24/7). I booked some tours via them and everything was done properly and timely.

Offering a shared lounge and mountain view, Casa Salkantay Cusco is set in Cusco, 3.1 km from Wanchaq Train station and less than 1 km from San Pedro Train Station. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay at Salkantay very much and ended up staying 5 nights. The hostel owner Zuzan is very kind and helpful and we felt very much at home. Breakfast is simple but good. Easily reached from historic city center by foot.

It is located in a quiet location about 8 mins walk from the Plaza de Armas of Ollantaytambo and 15 mins walk to the train and bus stations. It’s accessible on a cobbled pathway by foot or on a paved road by taxi or tuk-tuk although either way, there are some steps to climb. Great breakfasts and super-friendly and helpful staff!

My husband and I spent one night at Kamma Guesthouse before doing a 2 day Inca Trail Tour. Liz met us at check-in - she gave us restaurant recs and other tips. She was also very responsive on the booking app. The room was clean and there was enough space for our luggage. The guesthouse is centrally located and less than 5 minutes to the main square. We loved their rooftop for stargazing and pictures.
