Staff was very friendly and helpful: they allowed us to check in earlier, then one of the ladies- she spoke German- came and gave us directions to the tourist area of town and suggestions for lunch locations, internet password. Breakfast was quite substantial!!!! I mean it. For a dinner or lunch close by -it is a pizza place advertisement on the street ( but has full restaurant menu) behind the corner few meters down the road - good prices, nice setting and clean. Hotel staff was really, really nice. Room has balcony with flowers.... love it ! overall very very good hotel and clean. Price, comparing with other B&B and hotels in that town, the best deal. Bus station is right there, also. We travel by bus while in Romania, so this detail was very important for us.

Offering a bar and garden view, Konak Sibiu is set in Sibiu, 400 metres from The Council Tower of Sibiu and 400 metres from Albert Huet Square. The hotel is lovely and in an excellent location. We had a car and did not want to drive in the old town itself, but there was ample parking near this hotel and it was a five minute walk to the main square. The room was a normal size with a nice big window that opened for ventilation, but had heavy curtains blocking the light for sleeping late. The room was clean. The beds were comfy. The staff was kind and welcoming. The breakfast was exceptional, with made to order eggs, plus pastries, bread, fruits, vegetables, cheeses, juice, coffee, tea. Everything you could possibly want. At night the entrance is lit up just lovely, It made us happy to enter. Would definitely stay again.

They have restaurant which is working untill 22:00, last order can be made on 21:20. Have own private parking. Breakfast is not very various, but very tasty.
