The breakfast was absolutely delightful—full-stacked and delicious! The atmosphere was welcoming, warm, and perfect for a relaxed morning. Sanelle is an exceptional host; her passion for what she does shines through in every detail. She pays great attention to the little things and goes out of her way to ensure that guests are comfortable and well taken care of. A small suggestion for the future: adding a play area or entertainment space would make it even more family-friendly, as we'd love to bring the kids along next time. Overall, an incredible experience! Highly recommended.

Everything was fantastic: the food, activities, hosts, accommodations, and environment... Ryan and Danny were awesome and very knowledgable hosts and the cooking staff were very talented and friendly. The hiking was unparalleled and the view from our rondavel was breath-taking. We had no reason to leave and immersed ourselves in the experience for several days of hiking, swimming and relaxing. If you enjoy hiking and aspire to hike the Central Drakensberg mountains, this is THE place to stay.

My partner an I had a beautiful stay. Our little cottage was immaculately clean. Everything about the place from the outdoors to the interior was amazing. Great for an escape from a busy lifestyle. Our host, Jennifer was very welcoming and attended to all our questions. My husband and I also enjoyed visiting Chocolate Heaven which is around 10 minutes away from the property.

Graceland is a slice of heaven. A very well kept facility with all holiday necessities readily available. This facility has arguably the best view of Drakensberg. Mergan was a very hospitable host and was readily available to assist make our weekend stay memorable. We will certainly be visiting again.

Wide ranging menu for dinner (some of the best beef we’ve had) and a beautiful garden to sit in during late afternoon

Berghouse and Cottages is situated in a rural setting, high up in the Northern Drakensberg Hills, 30 km from Bergville. Free WiFi is available in each cottage. Wonderful place for a medium- to long-term getaway! Friendly reception, very clean and comfy accommodation with all amenities including a double(!) shower. Stunning view (if it isn't too hazy ;) and the ponies come up in the morning for a pat (and if you are not careful, to nibble on the things on your breakfast table...) We went for the breakfast and dinner option, which was delivered to the doorstep hot and on time, with a lot of love and attention going into the tasty food and its presentation.

The place was unreal. So beautiful with the river rushing through trees. The bed was completely luxurious and the attention to detail outstanding. The biscuits given with tea were home made, as were the scented shower bombs - just amazing. I asked for a takeaway breakfast which Tanya happily provided which was delicious. One of the best places I've stayed in South Africa. Would 100% go back.

Definitely great 10/10. The attention to detail was everything. From the little treats left on the bedside to the rusk biscuits which were so thoughtful. Super friendly owners. This will definitely be a place I would want to come back to.
