The best accommodation during our 3 weeks trip to Korea. The house is big, 100% refurbished, with a nice terrace. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. The équipement is above what you can expect and full explanations are given in writing in English. The hosts were very friendly and offered croissants, milk, soda water in the fridge. If you stay in Suncheon don’t miss it !

For context I am a solo female traveller who can speak only a little amount of Korean. I had left my large suitcase at my long term accommodation in Gwangju and just brought my backpack which definitely made things a lot easier. I had a beautiful stay, and after getting lost on the rural bus network getting here the host was quick to comfort me and offered to pick me up from my location. She made me feel so at home despite the language barrier, giving me food and starting the campfire where I stayed for over an hour with little Cookie the kitten purring on my lap. While it might take a little more thought and effort getting here it is certainly worth it for the serenity and hospitality you receive. The breakfast was also lovely. Nothing to fault about my stay, I hope you consider staying too :)

A recently renovated vacation home, Hanok Stay - JukRokJungSa offers accommodation in Gurye. With mountain views, this accommodation offers a balcony. Location was close to hwaeomsa and scenery was nice and staff was helpful.

A 6-minute walk from Guksaam Buddhist Hermitage in Yeosu, Ellon Hanok Pension features accommodations with access to a hot spring bath, hot tub, and spa facilities. Very clean, new towels everyday, very good facilities. Exceptional hospitality. Would love to come here again with the family. The bbq and fireplace was a great touch. Really enjoyed our stay surrounded by beautiful nature and mountains.

Hundred Years Hanok enjoys a location in Mokpo, 3.8 miles from Pyeonghwa Peace Square and 21 miles from Wolchulsan National Park. Breakfast was lovely, boiled eggs and sweet potatoes, along with toast and coffee and fruit. I had a private bathroom around the corner from my cozy room, it was a lovely unique experience in an original Korean home.
