“We were on the top floor which was really nice! The room is very large and a very good value for what you pay. The bathroom had a nice shower and the bed was a canopy style which was cute to have. We didn't hear anyone from our room so the soundproofing was very good.”
“Great location, really good staff and good VFM. We walked for the most part. We took advantage of the services of Hanoi Kids ( http://www.hanoikids.org) which I would heartily recommend to anyone. They guided us to many of the main sights: Ho CHi Minh Museum/Mausoleum (be prepared to queue for the latter) Hoa Lo Prison ("Hanoi Hilton") the (in)famous prison used by both the French and the Viets The lake Cafe Giang (home of the famous egg coffee) and a great lunch, literally in an alley way for delicious food.”
“Location was great! Literally round the corner from the Hoan Kiem lake (however don’t be misled that the hotel is on the side of the lake by the pictures as they are misleading!) Walking distance from markets, bars, restaurants and beer street. Sightseeing opportunities are also walkable - HCM mausauleam, train tracks through city, ‘Hanoi Hilton’ prison, war museum. Staff were lovely and 24 hour. Room was clean, air conned, WiFi, and good English language channels on TV.”
“I’ve stayed 13 nights in this hotel. I usually stay at big comfort Hotel brands ( Hilton , Sheraton, Marriott..) and none of them compares to the friendliness, personal attention and kindness of its staff. They are proactive, efficient , extremely corteous without being overwhelming. Actually the team ( specially at recepction and front desk) deserve a 10-star review. Book without hesitation . You won’t regret it, for sure.”
“Bed was almost like a cot. Not impressed at all. Shower was designed for someone less than 5 feet tall. Great for back packers but we actually moved to the Hilton Garden Inn after one night. For $12 more a night there was no comparison.”
