We absolutely loved The Green House. It's in a dream location with a stunning view over to Skye. The approach to Glenelg over the Mam Ratagan Pass is gorgeous. Sitting on the decking and watchng the sun set over the Isle of Skye every evening was so special. The space in The Green House is very cleverly used, it felt spacious, light and open, it is cleverly positioned so it feels private and not overlooked at all. The rainfall shower was so refreshing, we were impressed with the water pressure and excellent wifi signal. We loved walking along the shore past the barracks and back, we took the turntable ferry from Glenelg to Skye twice! We ate breakfast twice at the Kintail Pitstop Cafe, the view is wonderful. We had an evening meal at the popular Glenelg Inn which was absolutely delicious. It was so tasty we wished we'd booked in again! We took Calum's seal sightseeing seeing boat tour from Plockton and visited the coral Beach there, which was a real gem. We went on a gift buying spree in Portree on Skye, the drive from Kylerhea where the ferry drops you off to Portree is so beautiful. We didn't get up to the far north of Skye so hope to come back to the area to do that. All in all if you're thinking of booking The Green House absolutely do, you won't regret it.

Absolutely perfect oasis to stay when visiting Isle of Skye, you have all the benefits of the area without the hustle and bustle with the cottage located in an oasis of its own. The ferry from Glenelg across to Isle of Skye was a majory highlight for out day visit, and we loved our dinner at the local Glenelg Pub. Only downside if wish we had more time to relax and unwind in the surrounding Glenelg area; the views and roads were so quiet and stunning, perfect for running and cyling alike!

We loved the location, peaceful, and great views. The house was like a home from home situation more than any other place we've stayed in any country. I wouldn't hesitate to return. The small village of glenelg was wonderful and do not miss a chance for dinner or lunch (or both) at the Glenelg Inn, also Dun Brewery was an amazing trip (pizza and beer). Please support local businesses where you can in S cotland. There is a coffee/chocolate shop just before you turn at Spean Bridge - don't make the mistake we did and wait till the last day to visit! The turntable ferry across to Skye is quirky and also not to be missed as an experience, great views and lovely staff.

It’s absolutely beautiful location, although bit scary narrow roads to get there, but breathtaking. There is no mobile phone signal which I actually enjoyed ☺️ but there is wifi. chalet was very clean and well equipped. There is about 30min walk to the village with the shop, pub and play park for kids.
Chalet was very clean and spacious, very well equipped and the views were amazing
We really enjoyed our stay in the chalet- the views! The Silence! The farm animals (particularly one calf and their Mother) with plenty of personality! Really loved everything about it. Up to date decor, very clean, loads of attention to detail with Kitchen facilities, great shower, comfy chairs, good size dining table etc.

A wonderful house. Very clean , well equipped with everything you need , fast wifi . Lovely place . Beautiful views very quiet. I recommend . We will definitely come back to this place.
The house has everything you need, especially kitchen equipment which is way beyond what many holiday homes offer. There is plenty space for everyone and the village is a fantastic place for a holiday. The view is just breathtaking and changes every moment in the Scottish weather. We saw dolphins, porpoises, herons and a sea Eagle from the house.
