Everything was so thoughtfully designed, selected, and located. It felt like home, only cleaner! The hosts had clearly considered what guests might need and want, and went above and beyond making sure that they provided all of the ingredients to make for a comfortable stay. Great light and room darkening shades, an expansive deck from which to enjoy the vies, extraordinarily comfortable beds and linens, spacious bathroom, ample hot water (and pressure), washer/dryer and dishwasher including washing powder, heat and AC, an intuitively laid out and comprehensive house how-to and guide book, milk and various condiments provided, an espresso machine with a milk frother AND freshly ground local beans…

    Nice quiet spot about 5 minutes drive from Matakana township. Lovely rural outlook, especially at this time of the year with all the autumn leaves. Beautiful and new little barn style cottage. Very clean and tidy. We had a lovely stay and would come back again.
