This place is an extraordinary gem on the ocean shore in Pedreira. The view is stunning and on a clear day you can see thousands of stars in the sky, huge mountains and beautiful green nature surronding the apartment. The apartment itself is well-equipped, also a jacuzzi is at the guest's disposal at any time. The owner, David, was waiting for us at night with some cold beers to show around the property. He was extremely helpful and kind to serve with tips about the surroundings. We would recommend this apartment for everybody wishing to stay at an extraordinary place with kind people and beautiful nature.

We had an absolutely delightful stay! Every aspect of this place was perfect and thought out to detail. It is a tranquil, exceptionally quiet place with an amazing view. The interior and exterior were full of warmth and hospitality, and we felt very welcome. We would come back again!

We had an excellent 3-night stay at the guesthouse. Everything was spotlessly clean. Nice bathroom and good shower. Comfy bed. Good heatpump-style room heaters that worked well and were easy to control. Big and well equipped kitchen. The location for exploring the northeast corner of the island is exceptional (our favorite part of Sao Miguel). Very nice electronically gated parking. Highly recommended.

This was one of the best stays we’ve ever had. The house is so nice that we rearranged our plans to have time just to relax here. Many great things but the hosts make sure your stay is superb. We traveled with a baby and the host washed all of the sheets and towels with baby laundry detergent and then left it for our use. I was blown away by her thoughtfulness. -quiet neighborhood -parking spot off the road for your car -gorgeous sunrise view right up the hill about a 2 minute walk. There’s also a cafe and grocery store. -comfortable beds. 2 different types of pillows with different firmness. -simple and cozy decor (decorated with blankets, plants and items that have interesting history) -instruction manuals for things like the air conditioners are provided. I’ve never stayed at a place that had this but what a great thing to do! -the hot tub of course. So relaxing and can be used in any weather since it’s in its own little building right next to the house -the washer is 2 in 1 so it can also dry -lots of extras and special touches. I don’t want to list everything and ruin the fun of finding them but some examples are fruit from their garden and a picnic kit. -there is a fire blanket and fire extinguisher. I don’t know why more people haven’t reviewed (booked?) this place other than maybe the location and lack of reviews. But the Nordeste side of the island is beautiful and much less crowded while still being close to attractions and there are plenty of positive reviews on a different booking site. Don’t hesitate to stay here!

Absolutely fantastic house in the Nordeste region, in a very quiet area, near only one house and all the rest are fields and a seaview from balcony. Very good aircon. Very good blackout curtains and window shutter so those who can have a good sleep only in darkness and silence will definitely have a perfect rest here. Wifi is good, TV is great. Bed, sofa etc - very comfortable. Shower - all good. Kitchen - very well equipped, you will have all the amenities if you want to cook. Parking just in front of house. Very friendly host who was all the time in connection with us and allowed to keep luggages for several hours after our check out. Overall - perfect stay and rest. If I had money, I would buy this house for myself :)

The host Hugo (who is not the owner) was always only a message away. Very responsible, polite and reliable communication! The house it self is really situated at a great spot of the island, in a very quiet and peaceful landscape. Electronic heating in almost every room, incl. both bathrooms, plus the wood fired oven at the cosy living room are a great benefit. The kitchen provides lots of useful things in a charming atmosphere. A comfortable large bed in the lower bedroom is the perfect place to rest well and wake up to the stunning view through the panorama window, overlooking the nice garden and farmland facing the ocean. Great views are guaranteed from all rooms actually. Water-pressure and -temperature were both very good. Pillows, blankets and towels were available plenty and in good quality. Cleanliness in general was good, here and there a bit improvable as on some dishes and surfaces. During a few days of heavy rainstorm in November it turned out that some parts of the house need renovation, as water was running into it. The Host Hugo was again taking all necessary action to find a solution immediately. Over all - I loved the house, the location and was more than satisfied with the host. I will return with pleasure.
