The location was far beyond any expectations we had for a rental house. It was really amazing. The house itself is absolutely fabulous: everything is new and spotless and has a mesmerizing scent( the pictures are by far not expressing the real beauty of the place). It is also well equipped and cool even though we were here in a high season, so you are not really missing the airconditioning. Also, you are able to park your car at the location in the driveway or on the street where the house is located. It is a street that is only used for the houses that are located there, always a spot to find, and you do not need to look around the village or walk around with your bags at all! Even when parking on the street you are a meter away from the house. Very safe place to park and exceptionally easy and convenient. Most importantly, Fatima was a superb host. She showed us the nicest of places, booked restaurants for us, and answered any questions we had in an instant. I never had such a wonderful experience with a host, she actually felt like a good friend or even family and was always ready to assist us! The village of vila nova de milfontes, is a secret escape. Truly, absolutely beautiful, and quiet place that even in a season does not have overcrowded beaches. It is filled with amazing restaurants, beautiful shops and the friendliest of people. We enjoyed every minute here. We wish we stayed longer and we will definitely return. Thank you Fatima, you made our stay here really unforgettable.

Everything was great: location, communication, smooth check-in and check-out. New and clean, stylish and comfortable apartment with access to cozy backyard and pool. You have everything you need for a great vacation in there. I was amazed at how considerate the host was by letting us know about possible inconveniences and willingness to cancel free of charge due to that. I’m super glad we didn’t cancel and stayed in this amazing place. Would be happy to return again.

What a lovely place! My husband and I spent 6 nights here. The location is perfect - away from the madness, but you can walk to town in 5-10 minutes and to the lighthouse in 20-25 minutes. The house is beautiful with lots of loving touches. The internet was really good so you can get some work done. The area is quiet, except for some roosters from time to time :) Definitely recommend this place. And the namesake pizza from La Sicilienne Pizzeria!

The room felt new, was very clean, well sized and accommodating and have all basics you might need, the staff was really friendly and helpful with all that I have requested. The indoor - outdoor common spaces are comfortable and well equipped. I also loved that it is close to the beaches and in the heart of the old village , yet quiet and peaceful, surrounded by very nice places to see or enjoy culinary. And the resident rabbit, Francisco, was a nice touch.

Guards Rios is in the perfect location. It's central and near the beaches and amenities. It's beautifully decorated, stylish, modern and very clean. It's ambience is perfect. Maria was super friendly and did everything to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, even lending us beach towels and sun umbrellas. There is delicious complimentary cake and drinks in the afternoon as well. Our room was excellent and the bed and linen were of exceptional quality. Just perfect.
