Maven is a hidden, secret paradise. You really don't know you're there until you see your parking spot. All the cabins are off gravel paths, so they have helpful wagons to aid in getting your things to the cabins. Our cabin was very modern and comfortable, with a great kitchen, bathroom, living room and deck. The hosts Anne and Stefan are very welcoming, extremely generous with their time and rightly proud of their creation. There is no way to describe the setting, with walkways leading to all the different buildings open to guests. Anne led us on a tour of the grounds, while Stefan shared some construction tips and showed off one of his new cabins opening soon. This is the kind of place that makes you want to cancel the rest of your plans and stay put. We just happened to choose Kappelshamn as a stopping point on a bike journey, and we feel very lucky to have found Maven.

Out in the woods, quiet and there was a barbeque including coal and lighter fluid. I thought it would be more usual "cottage hotel" and less "half abandoned summer home" but I liked it so I guess it depends on the guest! All utensils and so on were provided.

It was in the best location! Loved the area. And loved staying in an old home in Visby. The sunset was amazing! And loved our entire stay.

The place is built, furnished, equipped, and decorated in a very thoughtful way. The location is perfect, calm, and outside the city yet close enough so you don't waste lot of time commuting to Visby. The view from the sea-view tiny houses is amazing. Spotless clean (but literally), easy check in and check out (you use your phone as a key, which is very convenient, it takes 5 minutes to install an app and figure out how it works). Kitchen furnished with everything you might think of (you can check in the pictures). Everything is smart and practical, and someone has thought of all the needs you might have ( at least that's how it was for us) 😊 Perfect place if peace of mind is what you're looking for. ✨️ We had an amazing time, and I recommend it to everyone.
