Free firewood is provided. I am rarely as happy about a place as I was with the Kolin Lotus Cottages. The cottage which was attributed to us is right in front of a lake surrounded by trees. The furnishings were perfectly kept and well chosen. The cottage offers everything you need including a working chimney and a sauna. Everything works and when called about a detail a very kind gentleman came to help literally within seconds. The absolute peace and quiet of the place is astounding.

Guests at the holiday home will be able to enjoy activities in and around Suonenjoki, like canoeing. Guests at Mummon mökki - Granny´s cottage can enjoy cycling and fishing nearby, or make the most of the sun terrace. I really liked this cabin. The location was awesome. It was peaceful but easy to access. It was easy to heat the sauna because everything was ready and there was very good guide book for everything. I slept very well. I enjoyed every minute.

Owner had boat engines, bikes, supboards and more for rent. The lake is very clear and full of fish. There were some mosquitoes and horseflies but not too many. The lake is quite shallow and there are big rocks at the bottom.
