The name doesn't stand only for marketing purposes, it really is a paradise. The owner is really friendly and helpful, he called me before arriving to make sure I'll arrive at the correct location, he turned on the heating so it will be warm and cozy up on my arrival. The accomodation provides you everything you need for a beautiful escape in the nature.(fully equiped bathroom, fully equiped kitchen, patio area, sunbeds, etc) There are also 2 swimming pools, a petanque playground and free parking places. I higly recommend it ! Will be back for sure :).

We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful and interesting place. Les Eyzies is steeped in pre-history - you can see 17,000 year old cave paintings right there in the village. Our house at Domain de Comtesse de Dordogne was beautifully furnished and fully-equipped to a very high standard and was spotlessly clean. The houses are set among extensive grounds, with a river, a fishing lake and a waterfall – birdsong is everywhere. Each house has a well-furnished shaded patio, with barbeque facilities and we ate outside a lot. Although other houses were occupied while we were there, we hardly saw anybody, and we had the pool to ourselves. The owners, Jean Claude and Lizette, were very friendly and helpful, both before and during our visit. We didn’t have a car with us, so it was useful to have a supermarket and bakery just minutes’ walk away. The house we stayed in was light and airy with a huge modern living room giving beautiful views over the grounds. We thoroughly recommend this place.

The property has been recently restored and consists of a beautiful manor house and two adjoining apartment buildings, which once likely served as stable yards. The garden is thoughtfully designed, offering a peaceful setting, while the swimming pool is spotless — a fantastic place to enjoy the summer and truly unwind from everyday life. As wonderful as the setting is, the hosts make the experience even more special. We had the pleasure of engaging in warm and meaningful conversations with a kind couple who are both attentive and genuinely delightful company. We stayed for just two days, but wished it had been two weeks. Without a doubt, we will return.
