This holiday home also features a patio that doubles up as an outdoor dining area. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. We were in Rose cottage during the storm and had quite an eventful time there. Due to the storm there was a powercut that lasted more than 30 hours! But our landlady Lynda did all she could to make our stay agreeable. She brought us a gas stove so that we could make some tea, torches, candles, etc. She dried our clothes and shoes as she had a wood stove in her own house. We feel that if a landlady shows so much concern for her guests, she is worth a 10 and more!
