My family stayed prior to a morning flight from Bristol, although there's loads to do near by so could have easily stayed there for a short break. Would stay again.

The weekend that we spent at Rook Lane House yielded one delightful surprise after another. Topping them all was the welcome received from a host with a fabulous feel for all that you could want to make a stay special and memorable. This found a lovely echo in the charm and grace of the house itself, and the fascination of the history that comes with it. The restoration is superbly sympathetic, but with all mod. cons. laid on, creating some suitably stylish (and spotlessly clean) spaces in which to sleep and shower - and savour, moreover, a mouthwateringly delicious breakfast.

The apartment was very well designed for the space and was extremely well furnished and equipped. The courtyard was full of wonderful plants and the hosts 8were gracious and helpful

The Barton Annexe is a self-catering studio accommodation situated in the village of East Lydford, 10 km from Somerton, 13 km from Glastonbury and 12.8 km from Street. We were met by the host, Jan who was very welcoming and pleasant as was her husband, Paul and the dog, Sammy who we met later. The accommodation is perfect, well furnished and equipped, very clean, quiet neighborhood, easy parking and in a great location for exploring the delights of Somerset and surrounds. We just loved everything about it so would certainly recommend it. We self cater so cannot comment about the local pubs but we are sure they can also be recommended.

Orchard Farm Luxury Glamping offers accommodation in Butleigh, 5 km from Glastonbury. Bath is 39 km away. Free private parking is available on site. All units include a TV. First impression for both of us on the family pod was wow! Every effort was made to make your stay comfortable and relaxing as possible. Our hosts were friendly and warm and with the added extra of on site cider it was even better. Lovely pub with great staff and nice food a 5 min walk down the road which opens at 5pm made eating out easy which we did on a couple of occasions. As we stayed in September it was quite funny listening to the apples constantly falling from the trees with a dull thud but that just added to the whole feel of the place. We asked about taking a camper van and tent next year but i'm lead to believe they're moving away from tents (campers with awnings ok) so with that we have tried to book a pod again next year. In all, great site, great hosts, lovely location and Glastonbury is just so laid back its almost horizontal! Hopefully back next year for more cider!!!!

Situated in Langport in the Somerset Region, these holiday homes feature a patio and a garden, each with a sun terrace, barbecue and garden. Free private parking is available on site. Mary and Sophie were fabulous hosts. Couldn't ask for more, had everything you needed at the cottage. We was on a work trip and was a nice relax and escape for when the team returned. Fresh eggs on arrival, and the best apple juice I have ever tasted, all locally sourced. We will definitely visit again
