Inside and outside was absolutely stunning, the most comfortable stay! The location is perfect. the property is very well equipped. we would definitely stay again and would also highly recommend it to all our friends and family.

Melfort Village is set in a lochside location, 24 km from Oban. Furnace is 23 km away. The units include a dining/seating area with a satellite flat-screen TV. We enjoyed everything, the village, the cottage, the welcome we received from all staff, the nice surroundings, the peace of the place. The cottage is super nice, we felt at home. The area is beautiful, we enjoyed every single minute of our 3 nights stay. The pool is also very nice and it adds to the overall experience, as we didn't find it easy to book a place with a swimming pool. In summer it must be gorgeous too, as there is a tennis court too. We rented the bikes as well, and we loved biking next to the loch. Stay there, you will not be disappointed, if you are looking for a relaxation, far from the crowds, while enjoying full and cozy comfort.

Whitestone Cottage in Culzean was the birthplace of Robert Burns' mother, Agnes Broun, in 1732. George had our room and fridge stocked with milk, eggs, bread fruit and more. Very quiet, great shower, bed and appliances.
