We had a memorable stay and I would highly recommend. The owner also let us keep our luggage in the lobby after check out while we went to a cookery class.

We spent a few days here in winter when outside temperatures were as low as -7°c, but we were warm and cozy inside, including in the bedrooms. We especially enjoyed the bathtub which faced out onto the snow-covered garden. Even though we had a car, the location was perfect to walk around the canals and old streets. The bento breakfast delivered every day was both gorgeous and delicious. We'll be staying again!

The property and location were stunning. The staff went above and beyond for us. When Shiho (the staff member who met us at the property found out we were here for our honeymoon, she went and bought us a nice bottle of sparkling sake!
