It was comfortable and spacious enough for all of us to relax and enjoy the hot springs together. The kids absolutely loved it, and it added to the overall comfort and enjoyment of our stay. Furthermore, the fact that the rental was exclusively ours allowed us to enjoy our time without worrying about the noise or disturbances caused by our children. It provided us with a sense of privacy and freedom that made our trip even more enjoyable.

Beautifully spacious presented house and close enough to walk the train station. Lots of room for the family but apart from the main bedroom, which has 2 x single beds, other beds were mattresses on the floor, however when in Japan :) Owners are very friendly and accommodating. They picked us up from the train station when we arrived as it was raining and offered to cook us dinner on our last night. Very quiet and beautiful area.

It ticks so many boxes I’ll probably miss a few but here’s some to start with; - location next to a craft brewery and a few minutes walk to the Hakone Outdoor Museum - crossroads location at 2 bus stops heading to Lake Ashi and Gora - easy walk from Chokokunomori Station - clean, modern high tech house with brilliant amenities and large kitchen - super comfortable 2 bedroom - parents upstairs and 2 teens downstairs on tatami…but capacity for 4 kids - off-street parking if arriving by car In summary….excellent!

I made this arrangement to stay not knowing what to expect. We were late for our intended arrival, but it didn't matter. I was not aware that the code for the entrance door was sent in via email. It took me a little while to figure it out. Nice spacious place. It was too big for just two of us. The view from top floor was nice. We saw the sunrise from ocean which was really pretty. Overall, we enjoyed the stay.

We enjoyed the facilities including the onsen indoor and outdoor bath. The kids enjoyed the pool even though it was not heated. The appliances in the kitchen were top notch, and the covered terrace with grill was a great space to gather for dinner. We ordered the half board plan which came with plenty of food for our group to grill for dinner and breakfast ingredients. It was nice to not have to food shop or go into town for dinner. My nephews thought the villa was the best part of the trip to Hakone! If you needed anything there is a convenience store within walking distance.
