The location in Guanajuto was excellent. Very close to Plaza Jardin, the Basilica, the Opera House, many restaurants and nice shops. Being that this town is mostly built on hillsides, there are not many streets (most of the main streets are underground thru very old, but very interesting tunnels), but instead has many carless walkways with many steps and up hill climbs to residences and small plazas, each with their own little coffee shops and small convenience stores. Once there, one really needs to find a parking lot and either do walking tours or take cabs to spots of interest away from the Historical Center. Casa Pali is only a few blocks to the center, so it was good for us three elderly ladies, who would have had problems getting to & from hotels or B&Bs further up the hills. Casa Pali, a cute and colorful casa, has three bedrooms and 1 and a half bath rooms; a half bath is on the first floor with the small living room and kitchen, two bedrooms and full bath on the second floor, and on the third floor, 1 bedroom (w/trundle bed & divan) and the small but lovely terrace with table and 4 chairs overlooking much of the town. Lots of nice thick towels in the hall closet.

The views from the terrace are amazing. The house is perfect for big groups having an event. I highly recommend it!
