Yes it’s a winding drive up the mountain so you need a car but that is part of what makes it so spectacular. Amazing views from the home! Mountains and waterfalls! Warm and cozy with a nice wood burning fireplace. Comfortable bed. Fully furnished living room was so cozy after a long day of exploring Nicely stocked large kitchen is perfect for preparing meals …And a wonderful jetted tub! Only 2 of us so we never even used the two bedrooms upstairs but this would be a wonderful place for families or friend get together. Also has a washer so it was great to clean everything after a weeks worth of hiking! The town is close by ( about 10 min drive) so everything is convenient. Would recommend that you book this beautiful home in a heartbeat!

The traditionally styled cottages at Gjørven Hytter come with a well-equipped kitchen and a private bathroom. Each living area comes with a satellite TV and each terrace is furnished including BBQ facilities. The cabin is a dream. It was so cozy and the porch overlooks the waterfalls. Very comfortable with all amenities you could need. The kitchen is very well stocked. The barbecue outside was a bonus. My children loved playing outside and looking for sheep. We didnt want to leave.

Located in Sogndal in the Sogn og Fjordane region, A home away from home has a patio and garden views. The air-conditioned accommodation is 24 km from Kaupanger Stave Church, and guests can benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi. Outdoor seating is also available at the holiday home. We loved staying in this house. We stayed only for 2 nights, but wish we could have stayed longer. The house is beautiful, well maintained, and has an amazing view. It was super clean and had all we needed, fully equipped kitchen, and plenty of towels. Beds were very comfortable, which is important to us. Also, you can completely darken the rooms, another big plus. The communication with hosts was perfect. They are very thoughtful and provided a list of attractions, restaurants, and hikes in the area. That was really useful since the area has so much to offer and it helped us choose the activities for our limited time there. We went to Briksdalsbreen glacier. The house is near a ski resort, so it must be a great place to stay in the winter. We highly recommend this house and the hosts.

The view from the house, how quiet and peaceful it was, the outdoor terrace and garden, the comfy beds, and how welcome we were by the owners (Anne and her family who had left gifts for us on our arrival and recommended activities for us). The house has been renovated with new kitchen and bathroom and has lots of charm and historic details.

This is the best place you could go if you like to rest and enjoy nature. Hytte (house) was great, enough space for 4 people (possible 6). great view from private terrace. Kitchen fully equipped, more than you would need. And the host - Jon :-) If you need anything - just ask and he will help. Great host, very friendly but not brazen. You can hire a boat and go for pretty good fishing here. Also possible to have some seafood like crabs or clams.

The house is very conveniently located approx 3h away from Bergen near a village where you’ll find a spar and lovely church overlooking the fjord. The house has everything you need and on top of it all a breathtaking view over the fjord and faces a gigantic rock wall that turns from red to orange throughout the day and the sun rays. You can canoe just in front of the house, swim and do hikes including one that is walking distance and offers amazing views. Our hosts were absolutely amazing, even sharing their fish and crab catch with us. This is a piece of heaven we hope to come back!

The house is in immaculate condition, fully furnished! Its very close to a supermarket so handy to buy groceries! Will definitely come again.
