We were a family of 5 and there was lots of space for us all. Having two bathrooms, a dishwasher and laundry facilities was a real bonus. The pool is great to cool off in. Vairea was a fantastic host allowing us to check in early, extending our stay and she went out of her way to help us when our flights home were cancelled.

The hosts very super nice and helpful, besides just being generally very polite and caring. The houses are perfectly sized for 1-2 people, even if you stay for longer. You can chill, cook and work all in the same spot. The hosts also have Kayaks you can use to go along the cost. If you are motivated there are very small islands close-ish with not too many people. The location of the Lodges on Tahiti makes these properties very special. it takes you 1h to Papeete, 2min to Taravao, and 25min to Teahupoo.

Gave us a genuine feel for the area watching the boats come and go on the water and the birds and the crabs and the dogs playing in the water. Kayaks make the lagoon accessible. The accomm is basic. One queen bed and mattresses on the floor. A great outdoor kitchen space. If you don’t mind basic then this is a great space. Close to Teahupoo and the cheapest we found in Tahiti.
