Even more, there was - besides local cookies for us - salt, sogar, oil, pepper, Nescafé and milk provided fir the first breakfast. Quiet village with nice taverns ( O Besugo preferred).

This new and very clean and well equipped apartment on the 1st floor was surely one of the best places we stayed in around Portugal. The owner was very welcoming and charming. She showed us all the facilities… and there were too many to mention. EVERYTHING was there, many little touches, especially an abundant fresh fruit bowl, bread, jams, milk, coffee and tea were a nice touch. It has a fully equipped kitchen and bright bathroom with big rain shower. Good comfy bed and Smart TV. Little seating area too. Location is perfect. 5 mins walk from the main market square, many restaurants to choose from. Free parking in front.

Situated 42 km from Menhirs of Lavajo, 4Cantos Alentejo offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. The hosts were very accommodating and amiable. The location is perfect. When we return to the Alentejo we will stay here again.

We were just driving home and wanted a stopover for an evening, but I would have liked to stay much longer. We had a lovely sitting room, kitchen, and balcony with a loft bedroom. The interior was creative, clean, and just very nicely done. The grounds were incredible with a shared outdoor kitchen, sauna, pool, and hottub. We went on a great hike to a local river beach. The host was incredibly kind and attentive! We will be back.

This holiday home has a pool with a view, a garden and free private parking. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. I only stayed for one night in Monte do Pantaleão, and it was so worth it! The house I chose was very cozy; it had everything necessary to cook. There was so much place to walk outside in nature, and it was wonderful to walk my dogs. The owners of the property are such kind, lovely and welcoming people; I was delighted to meet them. The breakfast was made with local products and they were delicious. The owners gave us a bottle of their own wine to try, and it was really good :) I highly recommend staying here and will definitely return!
