Located 50 metres from the Riesneralm main ski lift in Donnersbachwald, Bergdorf Riesner offers chalets, each with its own infrared sauna, hot tub, and rain shower. Free WiFi is available.

Each chalet and suite features a balcony and terrace with mountain views, a kitchen, a flat-screen cable TV, and a bathroom. The chalets all have their own barbecue and accessories. We had an excellent 3-day stay, hiking in the area. The house was comfortable and lovely, kids enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi. The breakfast was of good quality and variety. Ski lift is just next door.

On a hillside at 1,250 metres above sea level, Feriendorf Tauerngast offers modern country-style cottages made from organic wood. They offer breath-taking views from the balcony or terrace. Free parking is provided. Nice chalet in holiday village, with dedicated parking space. Fully equipped kitchen, dining room, nice living room with veranda and terrace. Ideal base for hiking tours. Restaurants 5 mins by car, grocery store 15 mins by car. Welcoming owner/staff.

Monarchia Park is located next to a slope of the Lachtal Ski Area and offers cosy apartments featuring free WiFi and a balcony with views of the Wölzer Tauern Mountain Range. A restaurant is available during winter season, while they are closed in summer (self-catering only).

The Gästedorf Waldheimat in Langenwang consists of 12 bungalows surrounded by a lawn and trees. All rooms have a bathroom and heating. The Lammeralm Ski Area is 3.5 km away and the Semmering-Stuhleck Ski Area is 15 km away. Great place for a sleepover. It's very basic, but has everything you need: bed, shower & WC, electricity and even free wifi. Free parking. Friendly and flexible staff - left the keys in the doors and texted me the room number for the late arrival. And the bar next doors was also a good surprise :) Good value for money.

Towels and bed linen are available in the holiday park. The property has an outdoor dining area.

Ski equipment hire and bike hire are available at the holiday park and the area is popular for skiing and cycling. The holiday park also includes outdoor fireplace and a picnic area for a day out in the open. This was really an exceptional experience. The host Helmut is super nice and friendly and makes sure to do anything to make your stay great. Coming later than the check in time is no problem. We stayed in the "barrel" which has a very comfortable bed (although definitely on the narrower side for two people), heating on the ceiling, sockets and a table, seating inside and outside. As of May 2025 there's a solar shower outside, you can get hot water in it and it's more than sufficient. Helmut also said he's planning to make a better shower soon. You also get a private toilet which is inside the building. There's lovely seating with view of the mountains and stars at night right in front of the barrel. It's a great option for anyone who wants to appreciate the nature and try many of the activities the area provides (thermal baths, via ferratas, skiing, biking). Definitely will come back on our next trip to the Alps.

Ferienhaus Bettina Rassis Feriendorf Donnersbachwald is located in Donnersbachwald and offers Alpine-style holiday homes with a fireplace, 1 km from the Donnersbachwald/Riesneralm Ski Area. Free private parking is possible on site.

The accommodation will provide you with a flat-screen TV. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator and kitchenware. Extras include a washing machine and a barbecue site just outside. Location is perfect, very nice and quiet place

Located on the Präbichl mountain pass, Hüttendorf Präbichl offers guests modern wood chalets. The property can be reached on skis in good snow conditions and ski passes can be purchased on site. Shops and restaurants can be visited in Vordernberg village centre, a 5-minute drive away. Friendly people and the place is just a great start for hiking. What we enjoyed most was the fireplace as it got quite cold in the evenings.
