Search resort villages in North Sumatra

The resort is great. Right next to the jungle and right at the entrance to the national park. The bungalows all have a balcony or terrace and if you're lucky, various monkeys or other animals come close to the bungalow and you can watch them. The staff are super nice, friendly and helpful!

We had an amazing time at Orangutan Bungalow! Staff were so helpful. We did the 3 day trek through them which was incredible. We also saw some orangutans on the property and from our balcony.

A basic room with a bed, a sink, a toilet, a cold shower, a fan. 2 simply bungalows in a small backyard a bit away from the center. Jhony is a nice guy! The price is very good.

Deli River was like a beautiful oasis amongst the hubbub of Medan. The gardens were really lovely and well kept and the swimming pool excellent. The restaurant was in a beautiful building, the girls who worked there and at reception so lovely and the food delicious. A fantastic place to stay.

Everything was perfect. Family and staff was incredible friendly and very helpful. The trekking was amazing. I saw a lot of animals in the jungle. The Bungalows are beautiful. The surrounding peaceful. You can hear the wild animals. I loved The place. I hope I can return one day. Thank you soooo much for everything. I wish you all the best. Conny

We really liked staying here. I think the best hotel I've ever stayed in Indonesia. Free transport to the airport. Swimming pool and little gym were also great. Staff was very nice and helpfull.

We spent one night in this bungalow on top of the hill, it was clean and nice and the view around was beautiful!

Perfect Location, bungalows are beautiful and private, wonderful host who helped with everything, jungle tour was terrificly organised. Prices were low, could lend a rucksack..

Wow the bungalows in the middle on the jungle are something unique. A mother and baby orangutan were sleeping right next to my cabin and lots of other monkeys passing regularly. Nice breakfast options (pay extra), friendly staff and clean room. Also wifi pretty good considering how remote it is.

Loved my 8 night stay at Sam's Bungalows! Excellent customer service, every member of staff was friendly, helpful and just good to spend time with and chat to. The room was clean and comfortable, great food in the restaurant with a mix of Indonesian, Western and Malaysian dishes- something to suit everyone. Location was incredible. Wish I could have stayed longer.
