Paradù EcoVillage & Resort also includes three seasonal outdoor pools. Guests can enjoy a children's playground and a restaurant on site. It also features a wine bar and a beach restaurant. The property also offers special children menus. This was an amazing few nights stay for us. The resort is fabulous, located by the beach, little chalets are between pines trees. The chalet we had was perfect for our family of 5. There is plenty to do for the kids. Pools were very busy but we didn’t mind as the beach and sea was what we preferred. Our son was the only speaking child in the kids club ( this was. A group for 10 year olds) but the person looking after the group (Abdullah) made sure that our boys felt included and had a great time. The Italian boys were also very welcoming and super kind and so my son had a very good time. We loved the evening entertainment. Food was a bit meh, for Italian beautiful food standards but it was fresh and overall ok for few days (I am not sure I would be happy if we stayed over the week 😀 the cook really needs to learn how to make scrambled eggs. But the omlettes were good). The little shop on the facilities was just great for daily groceries. Overal amazing!

With a total of 3 swimming pools, this charming Tuscan farmhouse has been completely refurbished to offer modern comfortable apartments. It is set in Populonia, a 5-minute drive from the sea. Parking is free. The property features an MTB Pump Track circuit in the park available for children and adults. This is a "sports" resort close to the sea: essentially a huge complex of one- or two-storey accommodation houses (kind of like university campuses across the UK, but bigger and more comfy), plus additional facilities (three swimming pools, two small gyms, a bike rental house, BMX-tracks, horsing tracks, a football court, two tennis courts, a small indoor playroom for kids, plus a small outdoor playground, two restaurants, a coffee bar with ice-cream and stuff, some table tennis and table football facilities, "baby dance" entertainment for children). Several huge parking lots (as most people come by cars), an ATM, a laundry room (with several washers and dries, charged currently 3 eur per wash + optional 1.5 eur for the soap). The rooms are spacious, with comfy beds, lots of storage room, a kitchenette with an induction stove (no oven!), a big fridge, lots of utensils, a dishwasher (!), iron, ironing board, two automatic airconditioning devices and on and on... Very clean and nice. This is essentially an "active vacation" complex so do expect lots of "athletic" types around, of all generations. On the other hand, it has everything you need, but is not "posh" in any bad sense of the word, so the crowd there is peculiarly normal and well-behaved. Mostly families with children. We tried the gyms (two: one for "cardio", with really a single bike and a single tradmill, plus some weights; one with bodybuilding machines plus more weights) - they are oldish, but get the job done. The pools are excellent (two for kids, one for swimming, 50ms, though not deep) - not very crowded and clean. They insist on wearing swimming caps so do bring over some! (Alternatively, the local drugstore next to the train stations sells them for 1.8 e a piece). The bar serves excellent and cheap coffee and icecreams.
