We had a family holiday. We were 6 with 2 year old child and a dog. We loved the villa we stayed at : amazing home, very comfortable, beautiful space, nice location (close to civilization outside of crowd, proximity to the beach and nice walking path for a dog). I liked that we didn’t worry about a thing.

Location close to the main street of De Koog Sauna in the room, works really well! Entertainment room including ping pong table, really fun. Generally clean hotel with good value for the money

swimming pool is great

I am a person that I do not eat breakfast first thing in the morning. They offered a breakfast take away bag, which was just what I needed. The room with bathtub and balcony was very comfortable. The swimming pool is perfect for relaxing first thing in the morning or in the evening after a walk o cycling exploring the island. The wool bath treatment was superb and super relaxed. The food at Restaurant Gusta with local outsourced products one of the best I have ever tried.

I love everything about this place, from the super friendly and helpful staff to the view of my room and the food. Everything is very nice. I'll definitely come back here when I visit Texel again. I didn't have a chance to check out the swimming pool but really enjoyed sitting at the outdoor bench next to the swimming pool and also the outdoor couch in front of the field. Amazing!!!

We spent 5 nights at Hotel Opduin. The room in the 4 star hotel was very clean, every morning again cleaned to the fore. In particular, I would like to mention that this family room was large enough for 3 children and parents and was an absolute plus. The swimming pool in the hotel is also highly recommended. The highlight, however, is the breakfast buffet. A real dream of delicacies.

The rooms are quite big and the hotel is conveniently located between the dunes and the town center with lots of nice shops and restaurants. The lady at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was nice to use after a long walking day.

Surrounded by nature and away from the crowds but still just a few minutes by car from the beaches. We loved the big windows in the room, the restaurant and in the swimming pool the most, so you always have a great view of the nature all around. Great outdoor jacuzzi & fine dining restaurant and friendly staff.

Friendly staff, always smiling! The kids (8 and 14) loved the AquaPark and slides! Nice Bowling alley for the whole family and fun time playing Laser game. Very good Wifi in the Bungalow.
