The room was large and comfortable with a lovely private deck backing onto a green space. The bathroom was well lit and spacious. The bed super comfy. Everything was clean and there was lots of storage space. The proximity to the hot pools and the discount for entry was great. The staff were awesome - friendly, helpful, attentive, welcoming.

The Parklands Motorlodge & Holiday Park offers self-contained one-bedroom apartments with a kitchenette and satellite TV. The cabin was very clean and had everything I needed. The staff that I came across and spoke to on the phone were very friendly. I was upgraded at the last minute, and it absolutely made my day. Having checkin be so seamless and the upgraded cabin was the best ending to a loooong day of driving and learning that my Tongariro Crossing hike was canceled.
