Holiday Inn Ipswich Orwell has a convenient location, with good access to the region's major roads. The Suffolk Coast is 15 minutes away, and the hotel is just 5 minutes from Trinity Park, the home of the Suffolk Show.

The room was large, clean and very comfortable. The evening menu was good, but the breakfast was exceptional. Nicely laid out and the quality of the foods on offer was very high, as was the cooking of it, where appropriate.

We enjoyed breakfast we mostly stayed at premier inn but the breakfast was always poor and you now have to ask for the room to be cleaned. Holiday inn breakfast was always hot they had more choice and the staff were helpful, only problem we had was they had decaf tea the first day but couldn’t find any after that, it wasn’t a major problem as we always take our own, but most places do have it. I have AF and am not aloud caffeine. Chef always checked all was ok and asked if we needed anything else.

The room was fine, a little better than a standard travelodge or holiday inn.

The property is old but had so much character to it that you can must fall in love with the ambience. The receptionist was really very kind and gave us information about the IHG membership which no one ever gave to us in the past 2 years that we have been staying at different locations. Thanks

Didn't eat as had other plans. The staff were friendly, helpful and willing to make our stay enjoyable. Our first time at a Holiday Inn but not our last. Thank you.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff are friendly, informative, and very professional - an asset to Holiday Inn. I would stay and choose Holiday Inn again wherever I go. Thank you

Very clean and huge bathroom. This was one of the Best holiday inn i stayed in. Seemed like IT was a familly hotel rather than a chain one. Well impressed.

Very friendly relaxed atmosphere. I was travelling alone for work and felt very comfortable having dinner in the bar area and having breakfast in the restaurant on my own. (I usually avoid eating in public on my own and get room service but there was no need. This was the first time ever!) So well done Holiday Inn for making such a welcoming, delightful environment - and the food was excellent as well - not to mention the really lovely staff members who could not do enough to make guests happy.

The property was very tired and in need of a refurb. Did not meet the usual standards of a Holiday inn hotel.
