An amazing place to stay - it's like a BnB meets a boutique hotel. Our room was so lovely, with a window seat looking out at the mountains. The rooftop view was even better! The owners are very nice and speak good English which is very helpful in China. We have been travelling around the world for almost 1 year now and this was one of our favourite accomodations ☺️

Beautiful location with a great view of Erhai lake. It’s a family business, and the owners are very kind and have great service - they dropped me off to the airport for my flight out. They also were very communicative and helped to answer any questions and provide whichever help they could. Really recommend this property - it’s very great for the price and service.

We spent 4 nights at Dali Dare which was super nice and calming - it was a place where time slowed down for us. The room was clean and spacious with a beautiful view from the balcony. The hosts were lovely and super welcoming. Had the best mi xian (rice noodles) for breakfast! The location is a bit isolated - it’s about 30 mins drive to Dali Ancient Town but it was also nice being away from the crowds. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Dali.

The hotel has a beautiful view of Erhai. I could see Erhai from my bed. The small hotel was beautiful and clean. Breakfast was delicious. The owners and staff were amazing. The owner helped all new guest take beautiful pictures with Erhai. They helped me with using Alipay, WeChat Apps for making payments, ordering taxi and deliveries. The owner even drove me to the bank and helped me put money in my WeChat Wallet so I could continently make payments with WeChat for the rest of my trip in Yunnan. I highly recommend this small hotel to anyone.
