I liked everything, especially our dear Cherry, who speaks very well english and helped us a lot with everything we need, also taking tickets at good price for National Park and others,explaining what to do there. The location is few minutes walking from the entrance of Wulingyuan Scenic Area. Lot of tasty and cheap food near hotel. Room clean, very nice, everyday change towels, give you free water, also coffee if you want. I am so happy i choose this one, and met her and her family. They are devotated and help you with all you need.Also help us book train tickets. Learn us how to come and go by bus, to be cheaper. It is 2 minutes from bus station. The area very nice to walk and enjoy. If i could, i would give more than 10.

Very nice hotel at a reasonable walking distance from the west gate entry of the national park (the owner will ride you in the car to the gate also). It is a family hotel, very well taken care of, with very yummy breakfast. Very nice people who will help you have the best experience in Zhangjiajie

We had an incredible stay! The staff were so friendly and helpful, using a translator device to communicate perfectly. One staff member even helped us buy tickets for Zhangjiajie and Tianmen Mountain and gave us a map that was absolute gold. Thanks to him, our trip was smooth and unforgettable. Highly recommended!

I strongly recommend “Mr. Wally” and “Wally House”! From the moment I arrived, Mr. Wally proved to be an exceptionally kind, honest, and helpful host who went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. His excellent English was a huge advantage, making communication effortless—this alone might be one of the top reasons for native English speakers to choose his place. He was always accommodating, flexible with changes, and genuinely cared about his guests' needs. The location is another major plus—close to many scenic spots and hotspots in Zhangjiajie, including the Wulingyuan entrance to the National Forest Park, Tianzi Mountain, and the stunning Avatar Mountain. This made exploring the area incredibly convenient. If you're looking for a welcoming, well-located, and hassle-free home stay in Zhangjiajie, “Wally House” is the perfect choice. I strongly recommend it to anyone visiting the area—you will hardly find a more helpful and trustworthy host than Mr. Wally! Superb hospitality and experience!

Beautiful and convenient little town next to the entrance of Zhangjiajie National Park. We enjoyed the local cuisine at this hotel as well as at the restaurant next door. The hosts were so helpful and kind: booked our park tickets for us, shuttled us to the park, and gave us a little gift when checking out.

Location is great and central. Walking distance to many restaurants and the river/bridge. Only 5 mins taxi to the East entrance of Zhangjiajie National Park. We got a complimentary upgrade and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The best part of the stay is the host himself Mr. Chen. He gave us recommendations on the itinerary and helped us book all the tickets to the parks. Extremely helpful, kind and generous. Highly recommended place to stay!!

    Very clean, comfortable rooms. I had a room with the Mountain View and it was great to wake up with such a view. The homestay owners are super friendly and attentive. Prepared great breakfast for morning and also guided on all the arrangements for the sightseeing. Strongly recommend this place!

    Truly exceptional! From the moment we booked, the communication with the host was seamless and friendly. The homestay itself was a dream come true, with every detail thoughtfully considered. The rooms were spacious, beautifully furnished, and filled with natural light. The breakfast selection was impressive, and the host even offered to cook us dinner one night, which was an absolute treat. The location was convenient to everything we wanted to see and do.     We were made to feel very welcome. All of our excursions were planned for us, the food was delicious and the room was clean with a comfy bed and modern features. You can see Tianmen mountain from the room. The staff looked after us. Our first trip to Zhangjiajie was a wonderful experience made better by the Flower Whisperer Homestay. We will definitely go back.

    Great host, helped to booked tickets, arranged everything. Nice location, little bit outskirts of town, but has free transfer so it is OK. The place is decenet, nice location, clean room and bathroom. The stuff is super nice. The pool was also clean and refreshing in the warm.

    I had a fantastic stay at Heaven's Gate Home Stay. The check-in was quick and the staff were incredibly welcoming. My room was spacious, clean, and had a stunning view of thr mountains. The bed was super comfortable and the amenities were excellent. What truly stood out was the exceptional and truly one-time service. Every staff member was friendly and attentive, making my stay truly memorable. I highly recommend the hotel and look forward to returning.

    Amazing property, clean, super close to one of the entrances of Zhangjiajie National Park, and the food in the restaurant great and really fairly priced. After a full day of walking, you can take a nice dip in the pool. The best thing about this place is the staff. Ming is a great host, and is always ready to help. Since he is also a tour guide in the park, he showed us how we can get the most out of our 3 day stay. We saw the whole park with amazing views, thanks Ming!
