Very nice home cooked breakfast and a great view of local life from the front porch. This place was such a great alternative to hotel/condo stays! Highly recommend if you want to be close to Alajuela and San Jose but away from the noise and traffic. 5 minutes from the airport!

The room is large, clean, quiet, close to the bus station for travel to all parts of Costa Rica, and a quick ride to Rescate. It's very secure. There are just 2 rooms available, so people looking for socializing with other travelers need a different place. The hostess is amazing, going above and beyond to help. She even got me an appointment with her dentist the same day my tooth broke. Grocery stores, fruit stands, and an abundance of restaurants are within blocks.
