Karl and Jocelyn were lovely hosts and made sure we were very welcolm. They couldn't have been more helpful, which made for a very delightful stay. The breakfast was superb and probably one of the most comprehensive and excellent breakfasts we have ever had. Westwood House was ideally situated at the top of the high street with easy access to shops, pubs and restaurants. Overall and very enjoyable 5 stars.

Lovely room with four poster bed. Large living room area with ensuite bathroom (bath and shower). Fridge in the living room 😊 Brilliant! Very comfortable bed. Plenty of room to put your clothes: wardrobe and shelves. No real view from the windows: just the roofs and back alleys, but inside is fascinating. Beautiful old building. Lots of history and possibly haunted! Debbie is a lovely host. Unfortunately she was poorly the last day we were there. Fantastic location: right in the centre of Dorchester.

Wow what a find, the perfect location for everything, walks alongside the river Frome, 5 minutes to the lively parts of town. Real old world charm the house is steeped in history and the owner Debbie is wonderful. When staying you simply must spend 30 minutes chatting. A lovely host, charming, funny and knowledgeable, we laughed like drains at her stories and learned so much about the history of Dorchester and The Old Tea House. Wish we could have stayed longer, looking forward to a return visit.
