Beautiful location, rooms, pool and staff! Nothing was too much trouble and they all would do as much as possible to ensure your stay was fantastic. Food was really good and great value. My wife had an upset stomach and they were really accommodating in altering the menu to suit. We also let the hotel organise our guide for the walk up Mount Batur and we had Jerry as our guide - he is amazing, patient and great fun! If you get chance to book Jerry or his sister for Mount Batur hike I really recommend you do ! We did wonder if one night would be enough to do the trek up Mount Batur but we are really glad we stayed 2 nights here as the opportunity to relax after the hike and visit the local hot springs and relax by the pool was just what we needed. The hotel is up a steep dirt track but our taxi for both drop off and collection managed it easily. We did the walk into the town to go to the hot springs and the staff offered to both drop us off and pick us up if needed which was a lovely touch . It does also have that wonderful family feel that others have mentioned with the family working hard to look after the current guests and add a couple of new additional units.

The staff was excellent, especially the manager Ketut. She assisted with anything I needed, and there wasn’t anything that wasn’t taken care of. From meals, to coordinating a hiking tour and drivers, and providing guidance that a local would know for things I was interested in. Great location at the base of mt batur’s lava field. It was quiet and peaceful and except for my adventures I didn’t leave the property. I had all my meals at the villa; the food was local and good (especially the fruit).

The view , the villa , the tour , staff was absolutely amazing . Although we arrived very late and left quite early we managed to enjoy every second . The tour was also organised through the hotel staff which was amazing experience.

    The staff was extremely nice and helpful as they live onsite with us. The owner of the place also organizes daily trips to Mount Batur and is in touch with local guides, and the departures are from the bamboo cabin place. No need to drive, you just wake up and meet your guide around a cup of tea. The quality of the trip was beyond our expectations, and we made such nice memories! The owner came to pick us up and also called a taxi when leaving which is very nice since the Grab app does not work there. We loved beeing immersed with the locals 🙃

    The Homestay area and view was nice, but the bedsheets and towel was very dirty n smelly , I thought they never change, I really 1st time have bad experience like that , very disappointed for this homestay hope please take note for this issue.

    Genuinely the most helpful homestay in the most peaceful location. Coffee facilities in the room & even a small welcome gift. Kadek was the most helpful host we have had in Bali & helped with scooter rental, hot spring discounts and a taxi to Ubud. They even have their own little hot spring on site! Room clean & comfortable. Beautiful garden. Couldn’t recommend enough!

    Was a good location to where we wanted to go (Mount batur and the hot springs), an incredible view, Joni and his wives were great hosts as was his son. Really friendly and go above and beyond for you to arrange what ever you need. Joni is very passionate about his homestay. Great pancakes! We asked for an extra blanket as it got cold at night and we were given a beautiful big blanket so that was great thank you
