This homestay is one of the best things we have done since coming out to Indonesia, from hitchhiking with family to staying with locals. This family is so warm and the owner Zilvia is an amazing person with the biggest heart. His daughters and brother are incredible. I have nothing but amazing things to say about them and their home. They Brought us in made us dinner and breakfast, showed us around the village and in the morning we had fresh coconuts from the tree. I will return and I feel as apart of the family as anybody could. The property didn’t have wifi but zilvia went out to get us hotspot packages which gave us internet. Truly talk about going out of his way to make us feel comfortable and welcome<3 thank you zilvia for everything you and your family did for us

The staff was amazing! Super friendly and helpful, our new friend Datu took us on several local trips which was a wonderful and unique experience. We met very friendly people from the village who showed us how to make coconut oil and offered us lunch, we saw the rice fields, springs and cooked dinner together with a family. Also the owner Abdul was very helpful with the transportation to our next location. We will never forget these couple of days! The room is simple but nice and in a beautiful area. If you want to experience real local Indonesian life, go here!

Beautiful location. Staff were friendly and very accommodating . Zul took us on a walk through the paddies and village and taught us so much about life in Loyok. He was fantastic with our children making them necklaces and kazoos using plants. A wonderful and memorable time spent in this special village.

Such a loving and caring family. The room was very fresh and new with a very powerful ceiling fan to cool the place off. Being in the middle of a rice field was a very unique experience. It was very quiet and peaceful. Egi and Ika were so kind and helpful with whatever we needed. Ika's cooking was exceptional. They sure fed us well! The kids were so sweet and fun to play with. We had a blast singing along with Egi while he played his guitar, he is so talented and so it was so nice to end the night that way. The tour options were great and we loved the bamboo spot. We were able to schedule a ride to Bangsal with Egi. Thank you for being our home away from home and filling our hearts up on our trip. You guys are the best and we love you so much.

The hosts were really nice and helpful, they organised a driver and a tour guide for us and taught us some Indonesian phrases. The food was amazing, they have a large selection of dishes - even for vegetarians. The room and location are beautiful and calming. The sarang walet waterfall, rice fields and monkey forest are just around the corner, perfect for a nice walk, though I recommend getting a guide to tell you about the local community and agriculture. If I ever get to come back to Lombok, I'll choose this homestay again. Thank you so much, we had a great time!

Sukry was amazing host and guide. He showed us the rice terraces, waterfalls, and we found a group of black monkeys. He genuinely cares about his guests experience while staying with him. We ate dinner with him and his family on our last night.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights. Jonny’s House is in a beautiful, quiet location overlooking the rice fields. Jonny and his family are very friendly and made us feel welcome from the very beginning of our stay. The food is delicious, home style cooking with a nice variety of local dishes (we recommend the curry and a dish called urap-urap especially). The highlight of our stay was the 2D1N trek to Rinjani second summit. It’s a challenging hike but the views are incredible and we felt like we had the place to ourselves. Jonny helped to arrange a fantastic guide for our hike (our guide was named Yan) who was super nice and knowledgeable, and really looked after us to make sure we had the best experience possible. The room is simple but very clean and comfortable. If you’re looking for a great way to experience Tetebatu with a local family, Jonny’s House is the place!
