The staff at Liberty Dive are exceptional. I found them to be consistently friendly, extremely helpful, efficient and resourceful. For example we asked about climbing Mt Agung and within 5 minutes, the concierge had organised a driver and guide for that night. When we checked out, the billing was meticulous. We visited at a very quiet time of year, however the restaurant was always available with delicious meals. The villas and pool were beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. Overall it was a great experience, the excellent staff being the highlight.

I stayed here for almost 1 month and plan to make this my new go-to in Tulamben. It is in a quiet location with a great view of Agung volcano and the forest/ farmland leading up to it. Wi-Fi is excellent and fast. Bed is comfortable. Unit has many power outlets. Lighting is good and functions well. The entire unit looks fairly new. AC is slightly underpowered for the size of the room, so on hot days at peak sun, it gets slightly warm, but nice the rest of the time. Bathroom is good: toilet flushes, shower gets hot quickly, but bathroom could use a mirror for shaving. It was inconvenient to have to step outside to the bedroom mirror. Kitchen is outside on the porch. It has a sink, 2 burner cooktop stove, and a 3/4 size refrigerator with a fairly large freezer. It also has pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc. Porch is fairly large and has a table and 2 chairs and a clothes drying rack.. There is a small Hindu shrine in the lawn area. Parking is adequate for 1 car or multiple scooters, but it looks like you could park about 20 m down the road also. It is 7 min. walk to main road and about another 2 to the dropoff dive site. Locate the correct road for the Homestay by turning up the small road to Dive Concepts and continuing straight for about 500 m. Tulamben is a small village with several restaurants, many dive shops, and a couple of small supermarkets. Other facilities are very limited. ATM is in the Indomaret at far end of town. Diving here is phenomenal for macro diving. Jiwa Dive is located only 50 m from Homestay (don't know if they're good. It is a new operation. All the dive operators basically use the same tank provider, visit the same sites, etc. so I'd just pick based on price and vibe). Restaurants all have about the same menu. My favorite is Wayan, near the supermarket and the pizza at Slice n Brew. Again, all are very similar, so pick based on price and vibe.

We stayed for 2 nights in 2 rooms and everything was great. The shared kitchen was very useful for cooking our own meals. The pool right in front of our rooms was a nice touch, the toilets were clean, and the rooms were comfortable.

The room was very nice and comfortable. All of the staff were lovely, and helped us whenever we needed anything. Most notably the food at the restaurant was very good. We really enjoyed the breakfast included with the room every morning, and ate dinner there several times. Great place to stay in Tulamben while diving!

The view is the most precious thing about this guesthouse, it was absolutely amazing. The rooms are beautifully made and very bright (the brightest I've seen in Bali). The breakfast is delicious and Wi-Fi is good. A couple of good warungs are right nearby.

Amazing location, walking distance from a lot of amazing cafes, dive shops, the gym. Amed beach is vast with an amazing view of Agung. It’s also super close to Jemeluk bay which has beautiful reef and snorkeling. The staff/family were super kind and helpful with everything! They offer scooter rental, Taxi services, and are so caring and considerate. The room was comfortable, we stayed there for almost a month and felt like we were able to organize ourselves well and was a nice home base. Direct beach access, lots of beanbags to hang out and watch the sunset, a cheap earring onsite run by a family member.

    Komang was a lovely host, so much so we extended our stay there. We ate at the property each day, and the food was good. Easy to walk straight down to the beach and then turn right to get to the shipwreck. Near an indomart too.

    We loved everything about this home stay, the host Oka was great and made us feel very welcome. We have been in Bali over 3 weeks now and this has been our favourite accommodation by far. I even went diving with Oka’s cousin.
