At the beginning, I was worried about the location its away from the town, but the gojek its very convient. The simple kitchen for me to warm up the food and water refill, fridge to use. Room its delicate, have all the basic supply you need, AC, wifi, shower water, wardore. Share balcony to dry clothes. After I check out, they help me to delievry my clothes to the next hotel. The owner its very reachable and helping.

Omah Minggir is so idyllic, best place to rest and relax and slow down especially if you came from a big city. This place is so close with the vast nature and abundant fresh air. I spent my stay here just to read, walk around in the paddy field, and eat in their cute resto (the food was home cooking, simple yet so delicious). The people here were amazing, I really felt at home because of them (thank you so much Mas Radit, Pak Yuli, Pak Wien, and 2 lovely Ibus). I really recommend this place if you want to experience another side of Yogyakarta. Definitely will be back to Omah Minggir.

Amazing hosts. Andre and his family made me feel at home, and Andre even walked me through the rice paddies. We jammed a bit, talked about painting. This place is great for artists, digital nomads, or chilling in the outskirts of Yogya.

This is a little bit like camping, so level of cleanliness expectations should be adjusted accordingly. The room is open to the outside for instance. It’s also a little far and there is a barking, yapping dog nearby and some construction noise. Haha. But it’s nice a place actually and the attached cafe is great. Still recommended as long as you have the right attitude.
